How to find a church in Whitby
If you are a new arrival, or simply passing through, you may be interested in finding a church in Whitby. You may be of a Christian denomination (including Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox, Protestant, Presbyterian, Mormon, etc.), or Jewish, or Muslim - odds are that there is a house of worship for you. Create a checklist of what you consider important in a church.
Ask friends and family how they feel about their church. Do they have similar beliefs to your own? You might want to join them on a trial basis. You also need to consider what kind of worship suits you best. Are you looking for a choir and lots of energy, or are you looking to contemplate God in a more quiet setting?
